In addition to Bernd Berner, the painters Erwin Bechtold, Rolf-Gunter Dienst, Klaus Jürgen-Fischer and Eduard Micus were also part of the SYN group, which exhibited and published together internationally. The geometric works of the SYN period are close in color and form to the prevailing Pop Art of the 1960s.
