As early as 1991, VAN HAM published a documentation of the oeuvre of Fritz Klimsch (1870-1966) by Hermann Braun. Out of a total of over 230 works, the author has rediscovered more than 40 works over the years - some unknown, some known only by hearsay. As a result, Fritz Klimsch, who played an important role among the leading sculptors in Berlin from the end of the 19th century until 1943, can be reassessed and judged according to his ability. An extensive retrospective in the same year with 60 exhibits by the sculptor, put together by Dr. Werner Stopp, provided the occasion to document the artist's oeuvre almost in its entirety and to add more than 40 works thought to have been lost.
