TWELVE PORCELAIN FIGURINES FROM THE APE CHAPEL.

Meissen.
Date: 20th century.
Maker/Designer: Model J. J. Kaendler.
Technique: Porcelain, painted in colours.
Description: The chapel consisting of:
Conductor, guitarist, flute player, transverse flute player, cellist, trombone player, ape with hurdy-gurdy, female singer, ape with trumpet, ape with oboe, violin player, two apes with piano.
Measurement: Height 12,5-17,5cm.
Mark: Swords mark, painted blue under glaze. Various model numbers, painter's numbers and year marks.
