TWO PIERCED RIM PORCELAIN PLATES WITH BIRD MOTIFS.
Meissen.
Date: Ca. 1850-1924.
Technique: Porcelain, painted in colours and sparingly golden.
Description: The plates with scalloped rim and wide open work. Some in parts with floral decoration and
rocailles. Each with bird painting in the centre, here once an osprey with a carp in its
claw, once with a Magellan snipe in high grass.
Measurement: ø 26,5cm.
Mark: Swords mark, painted blue under glaze. As embossed marks 41 35a and 73/09 35 and 73.
