Technique: Smoke-coloured glass.
Description: Compact, bulbous form. On the side with deeply moulded relief of stylised cactus leaves.
Measurement: Height 33cm.
Mark: At the bottom inscribed 'Lalique', engraved. Limited edition, no. 53 of 99.

Provenance:
Private collection North Rhine-Westphalia.

René Lalique was inspired by the 'Languedoc' region in the south of France and created this design after a journey through the landscapes there and the sight of its plants.
