PORCELAIN HELMET JUG WITH WATTEAU SCENES.

Meissen.
Date: 18th cent.
Technique: Porcelain, painted in colours and gold. Bronze, gilt.
Description: On the sides, in between three gold-decorated flutes each, thrice scenes of a galant
couple in parklands. On the foot of the jug and between the gold flutes colourful flower
paintings. On the interior of the jug in the area of the spout and of the base of the
handles gold ornaments. The original porcelain handle substituted by bronze work.
Measurement: 24,5x23,5cm.
Mark: Swords mark, painted blue under the glaze.
