In the late 1950s, he produced a series of paintings that were transformed into reliefs by means of sculptural paste-ups. Onomatopoeic fantasy titles illustrate the complete renunciation of a reproduction of external reality. In a next step, these reliefs developed into the three-dimensional "Migofs", which have the character of artificial creatures.
