In her last paintings of tulips, Sarah Schumann processes the last years of Silvia Bovenschen, who passed away in 2017. In the final series, Sarah Schumann also follows her lifelong principle of "beauty and terror" as an aesthetic maxim, here in the form of delicate tulips carried by the strong wind.
